The goal of our documentary is to raise awareness of the systemic collapse of EMS and to advocate for change. Shockingly, most states don’t mandate the provision of EMS so funding is unpredictable and inadequate. There is a critical workforce shortage, particularly in rural areas, which in turn has lead to much longer response times. This is something that will affect all of us and we should be very concerned.
